Since 1989 Iris Pictures has produced more than 60 hours of factual programs and won many international and domestic awards. The company has an extensive slate of broadcast and educational programs in production and development and our programs have screened at festivals around the world.

Jessica Douglas-Henry, Company Director

Henry_b&w160With over 30 years experience in the film and TV industry, Jessica was recently Executive Producer of the series About Women and in 2008 produced the international co-production Roadtrip Nation Australia. In 2007 she produced the series About Men scheduled to screen on SBS in early 2009.

Jessica was nominated for the 2002 Critics Circle Award for her work as writer/director on Our Brother James, a Film Australia documentary with a very personal perspective about the effects of youth suicide. The treatment for Our Brother James was nominated for the 2002 NSW Premier’s Literary Prize and also won the 2001 Australian Writers Guild Award for Public Broadcast documentary.

Prasan De Silva

As Production Coordinator, Prasan is responsible for the day to-day operations of Iris Pictures as well as working as production manager, producer and director on Iris Pictures broadcast and educational projects.

Roger Gregory

Roger researches and develops projects as well as working with the camera. He has worked as a director, researcher and music supervisor on documentaries and short films. Roger worked on the Roadtrip Nation Australia series and has recently returned from the USA where he filmed a Roadtrip Nation series for Fuel TV. He co-directed and co-produced Asylum Seeker Stories for the Asylum Seekers Centre in 2008.

Juliet Cobb

Juliet manages the DVD services and educational arm of Iris Pictures. Her background is producing corporate and government publications and websites.
